FreeWire secures $50M in Series C funding round
FreeWire has announced a $50 million Series C funding round, led by Riverstone Holdings, with participation from current shareholders bp ventures, Energy Innovation Capital, TRIREC, and Alumni Ventures Group. The new investment will enable FreeWire to accelerate international market expansion of its flagship product, Boost Charger, and expand production capacity to meet unprecedented customer demand. First UK deployment of Boost Charger
We are excited to announce Boost Charger's arrival in the UK! This unit at the bp pulse offices in Milton Keynes is a major step toward enabling faster and more widespread charger deployment by in the UK. Boost Charger's battery-integrated design allowed this unit to be deployed without infrastructure upgrades and only took 2 hours to swap the existing 50 kW charger for the ultrafast 120 kW Boost Charger.
